• Email Address: We collect your email address via the Chrome Identity API to verify your account status and manage your subscription plan (Free or Pro) securely.
• Audio Data: When you use the translation feature, the Extension captures audio from your active browser tab or microphone.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly for the single purpose of providing the Extension's functionality:

• Audio Processing: The captured audio data is sent directly to our secure backend and processed via the OpenAI API for real-time translation and response generation. We do not permanently store your audio data on our servers, nor is it used to train AI models.
• Account & Subscription Management: Your email address is used solely to link your identity to your subscription status via our secure backend and Stripe integration.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share your data only with the following trusted service providers strictly to operate the Extension:

• OpenAI: For processing audio and generating translations.
• Stripe: For processing payments and managing subscription status securely.
• Cloudflare: For secure backend API routing and verification.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All communication between the Extension, our backend, and third-party APIs is encrypted using standard HTTPS protocols.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access or request the deletion of your personal data (email address) from our database. To exercise these rights or to cancel your subscription, you can use the Extension's settings dashboard or contact us directly.
